How are you different from other platforms? +
GigWing is a bi-directional matching platform that matches gig seekers to gig providers based on skills and locations. It persists users' gig searches and gig posts so they can keep getting matches on their homepage until they choose to delete their posts.

GigWing solves the following problems:
  • Cost prohibitiveness of other job-finding platforms
  • Lack of representation of one's skills/services on other platforms
  • Job seeking/providing posts on Facebook groups getting buried by other posts and losing visibility by potential candidates/employers
  • Having to post again and again to find a job or candidate
  • Competing with sponsored ads on other platforms
  • Having to pay a cut or commission for earned income opportunities.

What if I don't consider my work a "gig"? Can I still use this platform? +
Although our platform is named GigWing, it represents much more than gig work. GigWing allows businesses and individuals to find income opportunities for their skills and services and offer income opportunities based on their needs. These income opportunities include full-time or part-time jobs, gigs, or even one-time contracts.

At GigWing, a "gig" can be a job, a position, a contract, a side hustle, or even a temporary opportunity. How users classify their income opportunities is up to them. They are expected to follow all rules and guidelines in this regard. Below are a few helpful links we found on this topic to share.
